Occupy San Diego: The Human Megaphone

At the Occupy Wall Street action the NYC Police forbid the use of megaphones.  In order for the demonstrators and special guests to address the entire group they employ the "human megaphone".  The speaker makes a short comment and those around him who are able to hear it, repeat it loudly and in unison, the speaker then moves on to their next point and the crowd then repeats that point and then the next phrase, on until the speaker is done..

In San Diego, there has not been a megaphone ban, the citizens employ megaphones and the human megaphone in a more traditional form.

As the San Diego protest ends its first week, events and endurance are factoring into some changes.  An examination of the protest's effects and changing situation will come next week.
